Pentax Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) Camera Simulator

In my world, there are only types of cameras: Pentax and others. Why? What do you mean why? There is no why. It just is.

It is a fact that the best photographs were taken not by the best equipment but by those who used their heart, head and eye.  Still it goes without saying that a better understanding of the camera functions.. be it a Pentax or Others… is an essential to a time stopping photograph.

Auto mode is good. So is aperture. Program mode too. Choose manual they say. that would make you a professional. Does it? Setting you DSLR to manual suggests that the user understands the finer details of flash, aperture, exposure, shutter speed, iso and focal length.  Not to mention the interaction of these to the ambient light, time constraint, distance and atmospheric conditions (ever tried taking a photos in the rain?).

So here’s a web application that will help you understand aperture, shutter speed, exposure, iso and focal length.
